Co-curricular activities are an integral part of a students educational experience at Mount Scopus College. They complement academic studies and allow students to experience and develop skills in a wide range of activities. The College recognises that the confidence, values and skills gained through involvement in these activities help prepare our students for life in an ever-changing world.
Students choose activities from all that only Scopus can offer a vast selection supported by the resources and expertise to sustain them. Whether it be sport, performing arts, debating, cooking, journalism or tzedekah (charity) programs, there is something for everyone. It is an ever developing program, responsive to the needs and wishes of its students and community.
Choices begin in Junior Primary and extend through to Senior School. Before, during and after school sessions cater for the majority of students who individually, or as part of a group, embrace a large number of activities and leadership programs. It also provides opportunities for the development of cross-age friendships and the building of relationships with staff outside the structure of the classroom.
