It is my privilege to be the Principal of Mount Scopus College, a school where there is a real sense of community, evidenced by the support and warm care of all within.
Now, more than fifty years on, Mount Scopus has consistently proven itself not only as a provider of a secular education of excellence but also as a creator, in partnership with their families, of generations of proud, knowledgeable Jews.
The Jewish ethos of the College is integral to all its learning and play activities and Jewish and General studies are seamlessly interwoven. Our School is about Jewish values, Jewish ethics and Jewish morals.
With that as our foundation, along with the College motto
'Chazak ve’ematz' – 'Be Strong and of Good
Courage' – the College remains the ‘jewel in the crown’ of the Melbourne Jewish Community.
